Sorry for the absence

So  all know I'm new to the whole blog thing so here it goes.  My family and I live in Culpeper which by all accounts is a really small town.  It's hard for me sometimes because my husband works a lot and I have to figure out new and exciting things for my daughter and I to do during the day.
Living in a small town there isn't really a lot of things to do when it's 20 degrees out so of course that means a lot of in home things which usually means a destroyed home in the end of the day.  So to all of you stay at home mom's don't be discouraged if your home is never tidy and it looks like you don't do anything all day,  we both know  different.
I know my day usually starts off with getting up way to early and I have  to hit the ground  running.  It usually begins with making breakfast and giving love and wake up cuddles to my precious daughter.  Then I spend the rest of my day playing then cleaning cooking lunch  then cleaning,  playing,  cleaning up,  playing some more then trying to get dinner figured out and then come to realization that the kitchen is still dirty.  I stare at the clothes that are on my table waiting to be folded and say to myself "I'll get to that in a bit"  which usually means "yea they can sit there another day".  By the time my husband gets off work,  when he's working days that is, the house looks a mess.  My daughter is running around naked per usual,  and I'm sitting on the couch trying to recoup from a busy day.  Then it's up to make dinner and try to give him some time to relax because he's been working all day.  Then it's time to serve dinner,  make sure everyone is happy then to start counting down to bed time.
I get some alone time with my husband after our little crazy monkey goes to sleep.  Then off to bed so I can restart the cycle all over again.
In no way is this complaining but some men need to realize that we are not sitting on the couch all day allowing our children to run rampet and eating bon bons all day.

My first attempt at a blog

So this is my first attempt at blogging so please be patient with me. In this blog you will find a vast array of things from recipes to kid tips.  I have a little girl who is the center of my universe and my loving husband who means the world to me.  I hope you take something away from this post i know i will enjoy writing it.
